The duvet is filled with the finest pure long strand mulberry silk and covered in a 300-threat count cotton casing; hypoallergenic, temperature regulating and anti allergy, our silk filled duvets keep you warm in winter and beautifully cool in the summer. Our half and half duvet has, like all our silk filled duvets, buttons and ties allowing you to layer it with a different weight for added warmth if needed Pair with one of our silk filled pillows.

Silk is a luxury fibre and you should always protect your silk filled duvets with a removable washable cover. If properly covered, silk filled duvets should almost never require cleaning. Unlike traditional bedding Gingerlily duvets are free from dust mites and as you don’t perspire using them, it should be unnecessary to thoroughly clean them. To keep your duvets in the best possible condition, we would recommend that they are aired once or twice a year during the warmer months, on a line outdoors. Please always check the care instructions on the label.
Detailed information:
Spot clean: Use a special stain remover.
Professional launder: At low temperature (no higher than 30°c).
Detergent: We recommend Liquid Silk Wash or any other mild silk/delicates detergent.
Drying: Air dried or tumble dry on a very low temperature/cool cycle if needed.
