Gingerlily, the leading British silk specialist, exhibited at the fortieth edition of Decorex International trade show (www.decorex.com) this September. Decorex is internationally renowned as the UK’s foremost design showcase for interior design professionals. In addition to its signature collection of pure ‘A’ grade mulberry silk bed linen and silk filled bedding, Gingerlily launched Casablanca. This collection is a contemporary take on a traditional Moorish pattern designed in collaboration with Jennifer Manners (www.jennifermanners.co.uk), acclaimed rug designer with a show room in Kensington. Jennifer Manners also designed a complementary rug to sit with the Casablanca range.

Cushions display
In addition to launching Casablanca, Gingerlily presented a new range of cushions - St Mawes (top shelf in the photo above). Inspired by the seaside town of St Mawes in Cornwall, our new collection of St Mawes cushions are made from raw silk with a linen backing, finished with piped edges. This collection celebrates authenticity and craftsmanship for a timeless and artisanal style and feel through a colour palette of soft neutrals. Two new cushions been added to the Lux Fringe range, in pink and teal. These are made from silk and velvet with an invisible zip.
