The duvet is filled with the finest quality pure long strand mulberry silk which helps to regulate your body temperature while you sleep. Naturally hypoallergenic, silk duvets are the only natural bedding choice for those with sensitive skin and allergies.

All Gingerlily duvets feature buttons and small ties on the sides and corners so they can be easily tied to help keep them in place inside the duvet cover and can be partnered with either a summer weight duvet or a winter weight duvet for a tailored level of warmth as required.

Silk is a luxury fibre and you should always protect your silk filled duvets with a removable washable cover. If properly covered, silk filled duvets should almost never require cleaning. Unlike traditional bedding Gingerlily duvets are free from dust mites and as you don’t perspire using them, it should be unnecessary to thoroughly clean them. To keep your duvets in the best possible condition, we would recommend that they are aired once or twice a year during the warmer months, on a line outdoors. Please always check the care instructions on the label.

Spot clean: Use a special stain remover
Professional launder: At low temperature (no higher than 30°c)
Detergent: We recommend Liquid Silk Wash or any other mild silk/delicates detergent
Drying: Air dried or tumble dry on a very low temperature/cool cycle if needed
