Silk is the perfect fabric for nightwear as it is kind to the skin due to its high protein content. Gingerlily silk nightwear is soft and breathable and uses the best quality silk.

Product Care

The silk fibre is very strong while being incredibly soft but it is still a delicate fabric so must be treated with care. Silk, like wool and linen, requires a more delicate cleaning regime than cotton – one that requires gentle detergents and lower temperature wash cycles. Gingerlily silk nightwear is machine washable at 30°c using mild silk detergent. We recommend Liquid Silk Wash. Line dry or tumble dry on a very low temperature/cycle and iron on a medium heat to restore the sheen and softness to the product. For more detailed information, please visit our Blog. Do not soak.
